Dining table Šik from our design workshop designed by our industrial designer. His intention was to give it an industrial design and we can proudly say that he fully lived up to his intention. Its name really describes its main features and especially its stylish appearance.

We made the dining table of our Šik kitchen table for you from quality solid oak, which gives it an elegant look and we attached it to an elegant designer-style metal base, which gives this massive table a modern and industrial look.

In addition to the advantages mentioned above, i.e. its elegant appearance in an industrial design, this solid wood kitchen table has a number of other advantages. One of them, which you as customers will certainly appreciate, is that both the color and the design itself of this table can be completely tailored to your individual wishes and needs.

It goes without saying that we will also adjust the dimensions of our designer kitchen table Šik according to your needs and requirements.

Appropriate dimensions

As for the parameters and dimensions of the table, we can make it for you in different dimensions, according to your needs and preferences. Do you only have a small apartment or a kitchen or dining area? Just a place where your table will stand? Never mind! We can easily make our designer dining table for you, even in the dimensions of only 150 x 90 cm. Or, on the other hand, are you the owner of a large apartment, or even better a family home, and limited space is not a problem that concerns you? Perfect. Your dining table can easily reach dimensions of 250 x 100 cm and thus provide enough space for you and your family. We now offer the possibility to create this designer dining table for you in dimensions up to 400 x 100 cm.

Expandable version of the table

For all our table designs, including the Šik dining table, we now offer the option to order its folding version. This variant includes additional boards with a length of 25 cm on each side of the table, which in total will extend the table by 50 cm. In order to maintain a consistent wood grain, it is essential to specify in advance the overall format of the table top from which the additional boards will be made. If you are interested in this modification, all you have to do is write this request to us in the noteto the order. After confirmation of the order, the invoice will be adjusted, while the additional fee for the folding system is CZK 2,500.

Tabletop Appearance…

The shade of the board can be kept in the original appearance of solid oak and or paint it with a transparent varnish with a glossy look that will add even more shine, design and modern style to your table. If you are not interested in either of these options, there is still the option of individually agreeing on a different color for the top of your new dining table, for example yellow or black paint. In this case, please tell us your requirements in the note to your order, then contact us personally.

Oak Lumber Shade

The final appearance of the tabletop also affects the choice of the itself lumber. We make our tables mostly from solid oak. We also have other types of lumber in stock, and after individual agreement you can certainly choose a different type of wood than oak itself. However, even if it is oak lumber, oak as such has countless types and for that reason you will find a wide selection of shades on the market and in our carpentry workshop as well oak wood. We always communicate and agree with you, and if you are interested, we try to choose a shade that will perfectly and as much as possible match the interior of your home. Most often, our customers are interested in having the table top match the shade of their floor, possibly with the remaining furniture in the room.

We also produce the metal base for our designer dining table Šik for you in several shades, you can choose the base black or white color. The powder coating with which we paint this base is in a matte shade. If the aforementioned colors, i.e. black or white, do not suit you, we can also make the base for you in gold or silver shade. Again, please enter the desired color variant in the notes to your order, or contact us personally so that you can tell us your requirements.

Table top edge

Another parameter that you can choose for our solid wood kitchen table is how the top edge will look like of this dining table. Either you can leave it in its natural shape or we will smooth it for you.

Thickness of your table top

Our designer dining table Šik is not only an aesthetic gem, but is also completely adaptable to your individual needs. As standard, we supply a table top with a thickness of 40 mm, which ensures an optimal balance between elegance and stability. However, if you would prefer a more massive look, we also offer a choice of 50 mm or 80 mm thick boards mm, which bring an even more pronounced and robust impression. These variants are available for an additional fee, which reflects the higher volume of material and the exclusivity of the design of this elegant dining table.

Table weight and shipping

As for the actual weight of our tables, it is necessary to state that they are made of wood and metal. These are heavier materials, therefore the weight of the base usually around 80 kg and the weight of a tabletop unfolds from its length, but usually it is about 20 kg. The total weight, for a table of standard size, will be around 100 kg.

This weight you guarantees that your dining table just don't overturn. You don't have to worry about its weight even if we bring it to you. We won't drop it off at your door and drive away, but take it to your home to the appropriate location, assemble it and show you everything. The metal base is glued with felt, so your floor cannot be accidentally scratched.

This elegant conference table measuring approximately 1250x650x450 mm will perfectly complement your interior. We will make the coffee table for you from the same wood as the table top of your dining table, and this fact ensures that both the tables will have the same shade and the same texture of the wood surface. 

As we are aware that every individual household has a different type of furniture and sofa, we will not only adjust the coffee table top, but also adjust its dimensions for you. The height and dimensions of this design piece can be edited to your liking, for example according to the height or length of your sofa, or the space where you want it to place Just write us your wishes and requirements in the notes to the order.
